Before you gross out and say no way, try it. It doesn’t taste eggy like you’d expect, it tastes more like an iced caramel macchiato. Probably because we usually add sugar-free Jordan's Skinny Mixes Salted Caramel syrup, love that stuff! Sometimes we’ll add Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides too. It’s an easy and delicious recipe. Look at that froth! There are lots of recipes for egg shakes but they usually include dairy and that doesn’t work when you're lactose intolerant. 😩
Egg to Fat Ratio 2:1
Keto Iced Egg Latté
8-12oz cool coffee
2 eggs*
1T sugar free syrup (any flavor but our favorites are Torani Vanilla or Jordan's Skinny Mixes Salted Caramel)
1 scoop MCT oil powder (we use Bean Envy) or 1T MCT oil (we use MCTco)
Splash of almond milk or coconut milk (omit during egg fast)
Dash of cinnamon or nutmeg
ice (optional)
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender (we use a Ninja Blender). Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
*If the thought of drinking raw eggs makes your stomach turn, try using 2T egg white powder (we like Just Whites) instead.
