Remember those chocolate balls shaped like oranges that you slam to break open? This little treat brings those two flavors together again. Fat bombs are a great treat for Keto eaters because they are high in fat and super low in carbs. Keep a batch of these in your freezer for when cravings hit. Enjoy!
Keto Orange Chocolate Truffle
5 oz sugar free chocolate bar (we use Lily's Original or milk)
1/2c heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp orange extract or 3 drops orange** oil (we use dōTERRA)
Optional Coating
1. You'll need two small saucepans. In one, heat the cream until bubbles start to form. In the other, heat the chocolate on low or in a glass bowl, microwave at 30 second intervals until completely melted.
2. Remove from heat and pour cream over chocolate and add extract or oil, stir to combine. Mixture should have a nice shine once completely mixed.
3. Pour into silicone molds and refrigerate for and hour. Store in fridge for one week or freezer for one month.

4. Skip step 3. Let it cool at room temperature for 20-30, then refrigerate for another 20-30 minutes. If it's too hard, let it sit out for a few minutes and try again.
5. Using a small cookie scoop, shape mixture into small balls (about 1"). Roll in cocoa powder or granular sugar substitute. Store in fridge for one week or freezer for one month.
NOTE: If mixture is too hard to shape after initial refrigeration, set out on counter for 10-15 minutes until you can shape it.
**TIP: You can substitute any flavor oil or extract you like. Some of our favorites are raspberry and peppermint.
